UMANA Conference in Edmonton, Alberta, 2005 -- Day 3
I finally got to sleep in (a little bit) on the 3rd morning, while the delegates held a meeting. Lunch was a delicious BBQ. Most of the attendees then spent the afternoon either at the West Edmonton Mall (the largest mall in the world) or St. Michael's Extended Care Centre. Since neither tato nor I are very fond of shopping, we decided to do the mall on our own, just to see it. It was definitely something to see!! That evening was the Gala Banquet with delicious food, plenty of awards & gifts, live music from Vasilij Popadiuk (violinist), a vibrant concert from the Cheremosh dancers and finally the zabava. I think a great time was had by all! ... Tato and I left early the following morning and headed to the Canadian Rockies -- photoalbum to come!
